Far Cry 3 Sound Files Download
I have seen many people complaining there is no audio in Far cry 3 and There is sound of all activities and audio but there is no sound for character dialogues. Most people can hear all the background sounds and music but the sound of characters in the ingame cutscenes are not hearing. Corrupted data files, errors in sound mixer or speaker. Description: Far Cry 3 is an open world action-adventure, FPS (First-person shooter) video game, It is the third main entry in the Far Cry series, developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft.You play as Jason Brody a young man at the age of 25 from California that finds himself in a world set on a tropical Asian-Pacific archipelago called the Rook Islands controlled by pirates.
Here is a quick idea of what i found out: to get english text and sound working, you need to:1. Download these files from drive.google.com (700 Mb):Far Cry 4datawin32soundenglish.datFar Cry 4datawin32soundenglish.fatFar Cry 4datawin32worldsfccmainfccmainenglish.datFar Cry 4datawin32worldsfccmainfccmainenglish.fatFar Cry 4datawin32worldsmulticommonmulticommonenglis h.datFar Cry 4datawin32worldsmulticommonmulticommonenglis h.fat2. Copy over SteamSteamAppscommonFar Cry 4 folder ( all the files are already organized for you)3. Locate two.bat files in Far Cry 4datawin323.1 Far Cry 4datawin32rename.bat hasmove soundenglish.dat soundenglish.dat in it3.2 Far Cry 4datawin32renameback.bat hasmove soundenglish.dat soundenglish.dat in it4) Now its time for some action. Run rename.bat, hit Play button in UPlay, when synchronization dialog appears, run renameback.bat. If you fast enough - game will start. If you don't - it will most likely fail.
Try again or don't play FPS games if you can't click things this fast.5) Generally, game will start with english text and sound, but you might need to go an extra mile and locate DocumentsMy GamesFar Cry 4GamerProfile.xml. Open with notepad, search for ' russian ' ( or whatever the language you have by default and wish to change ) and replace those with ' english ' ( it must be two entries for text and sound ).6)??????7) PROFIT NOT SO OBVIOUSWhat we did? ' hiding ' english files from UPLAY launcher for the tiny moment of filecheck will allow game to start, but you need to rename files back, till the actual start of the game. That's where those.bats come into play.P.S.: if you can't get this thing working, simply delete/rename soundenglish.dat and game will start normally so you can suffer blin.
You can also write some.bat's to run those.bat's, but, well, it's a whole other story (: Add me if you still have questions and glhf. I'm looking specifically for the music in the background of (minor spoilers, though fairly early in the game) I've checked, and it is not on the soundtrack. Are there any tools available that could help me and others look through this? The sounds of this game are part of what make it awesome, and I'd really like to have access to the sounds outside of playing.
