At first it seemed like a good fit - good look and feel - easy operation - after a year of use it became apparent that the top rack was not cleaning dishes well despite doing all the required maintenance (cleaning the filters and arms). Over the 5 years we owned this washer it was fairly good but in the last year the seals were getting caught on the door (despite hours re-attaching and try different adhesives) and the lower rack pots and pans coming up dirty. When you have to thouroughly pre-rinse every item before placing it in the dishwasher you begin to wonder why have the dishwasher at all.Replaced with a BOSCH. I don't know why people are so adverse to this product I bought mine for 40 dollars and it has been fantastic.
I had a Miele before and sure it was amazing but this dishwasher is up there. Very rarely have to wash anything again. I use Aldi tablets and they work great. Dont over suds it and keep the filter clean. I usually fill it right up and put it on the long cycle. Empty and rinse the filter every 2 to 3 weeks.
I have had it error 2 a couple of times. Turn it off at the switch and restart it.
Normally sorts itself out but if not rinse the filter. Ive had this dishwasher 2nd hand since 2011, gets used basically every 2nd to 3rd night, family of 5, never missed a beat. Yeah the bottom tray is a bit if s let down but even the best dishwashers around you can still point out downfalls. Seems like people jump on review sites to have a whinge you rarely see positives because those people are not bothered having a whinge. My dishwasher is worth the 5 stars. I use pretty acidic bore water and its just powered through everything thrown at it. I use powder also not stupid tablets!!!!
I dont think im the only person out there with a gem there would be thousands just as good! Does not clean well.tablets do not dissolve 20% of the time.difficult to take a part when you have replace the inlet valve.now getting the Error 3 message and cannot find anything online on how to DIY for this specific model. The examples on youtube are of a different type of heating element.disappointing that the unit failed just after the 5 year warranty period.Discovered the cleaning problem, water level does not fill to proper level, i need to add 2 litres of water for both rinse and wash cycles. I bought this machine about 5 yrs ago for my investment Apt for use by 'short term' tenants. I moved in permanently myself almost 4 yrs ago & have only used the machine 'once every blue moon' to keep it ticking over.Have always been frustrated by not being able to fit proper sized plates upright in the lower rack because the upper spray arm attached to the top rack would hit them & therefore could not properly turn/spin.Have read all of the reviews on this site up to the end of page 5 & noted the advice from others claiming the top rack can be adjusted upwards to allow room for normal plates below.Despite reading these claims I still couldn't see how this adjustment could be done.
Until I read the helpful review by KAM7 on page 5 dated 12/12/11,where he says. 'pull out the top rack. At the back of the top rack on the outside of the rack there is a handle. Pull out & lift & push in'.Whilst I am so grateful for that sensible common sense explanation by KAM7 I have to tell you it is not entirely exactly accurate. At the risk of sounding pedantic to be successful you also need to know.
There are in fact TWO horizontal clip on type handles at the back of the rack and actually on THE SIDES at the back of the rack. There is a horizontal clip on handle on each side of the rack. One on the left & one on the right. (1 & 1 = 2 clip on handles).Think about it. Obviously you need one clip on handle on each side, (the left side & the right side), because if you adjusted just one the rack would end up lopsided.

Common sense tells you to adjust the clip on handle on each side so it is level.Once you pull out the rack, (as KAM7 says to do), just look on each side towards the back end of the rack & you will see a type of horizontal clip on handles, one on the left side & one on the right side. Unclip the handle on each side & adjust to the new position & clip back into place both clip on handles.Hallelujah! Yes, it can be adjusted.
Maybe now I will use the dishwasher more often & later do a proper review of its overall performance. This dishwasher came with the house. After about a year or two old it stopped washing. When I dragged it out the drain hose shattered, it was extremely brittle and I guess there would be a good chance of all the water being pumped on the floor causing considerable damage. The fault was the condenser on the main motor and it worked after it was replaced - it was a big job to pull it apart and get it replaced though. The cutlery basket is biodegradable and had to be replaced.
The door catch then latched incorrectly and the door had to be pulled apart and the catch reset. The wheels on the top tray are dissolving and now keep falling off and dropping the top tray. The machine is relatively quiet, but this may because it doesn't really wash the dishes, especially those in the top tray. The electronics work well and I have used it on delay start for five years no issues. As others have mentioned it is difficult to fit things in the bottom tray if the top tray is in the lower position. Vice versa in the top position. Also you have to cable tie the catch to keep it in the top position otherwise the tray will fall down, the wonky wheels will come off, the rails will drop and it will all end in tears.

The ADP6000IX I have was part of an appliance package in an apartment I have been in for 2 years. The machine (and building) is about 5 years old. It was in a terrible state when we moved in - rotator arms stuck with grease and food particles, dirty and grimy throughout, etc. It took a lot of resurrecting!Since then, it has not broken down and seems ok mechanically/technically. I get the impression it is the cheap brand.
It looks nice. You really have to look after it and work around its limitations to get the best from it. I owned a 20 year old Bosch before this which was a mile better but about 10x the price back then and 2-4x to buy new these days.
Key observations:- cheap plastic baskets and wheels mean the baskets must be pushed in gently with even pressure on both sides or they twist and/or come off the tracks- plenty of space between dishes and no overstacking or baskets twist or the wash isn't very good- possible design fault that results in the detergent door not opening fully when released at the wash cycle. It catches on the top basket, even when basket is fully pushed back into the machine. Detergent tablets usually seem to fall out ok.- needs regular cleaning (baking soda and white vinegar added to hot wash stage of heavy duty cycle)- regular size (old Mikasa brand) dinner plates don't fit in bottom drawer if top draw is in low position- not much fits in top drawer if it is in higher position (in order to fit plates in lower position!)- use top quality dishwasher tablets. We use Fairy brand.- leave door ajar at end of cycle, allowing steam to escape and dishes will dry properly (except plastic)- we don't really attempt truly filthy pots or pans in the machine (eg. Baked on food)The Whirlpool oven in our appliance package leaves a lot to be desired too. But that's another story.

And like everything, expensive isn't always better - but often is. There are some really crummy expensive products out there too!
