The Forest Black Screen On Startup

The Forest Black Screen On Startup Rating: 8,1/10 7283 reviews

I made a thread about this last week. This happened exactly a week ago.My computer was working fine last Sunday night.

10 Fixes for The Forest PC game Crashes, Doesn't start, Low FPS, Can't Save, Black screen, No sound. Crashwiki 1838d ago Article 2. Info; Add Alt Source. Nov 28, 2017 - Out of the games you listed, The Forest is probably the closes to 7DTD, but even that requires nowhere. It's just a black screen and reboot.

ScreenThe

Nothing to indicate any problems. I turn it off.

The next morning I turn it back on, and it won't even get to BIOS. There are no system beeps, and the dram LED stays lit on my Asus mobo. I use the memok button, I try every possible combination of memory sticks and slots, I reset CMOS, I take my video card off, nothing works.

I disconnect my PSU from everything and hook it up to an older computer to see if it even works, and it does (although the only reply in my last thread said that this wasn't a good test of my PSU). I leave everything unhooked for the rest of the day.The next day I hook it all back up and try it again, just for the hell of it, and it works fine, boots up, like nothing was ever wrong.

I assume that somehow there was a loose connection that I had missed. The computer works fine for the rest of the week. However, now it's doing it again, won't boot to BIOS, no display on the screen, except this time the CPU led is staying lit. Can anyone give me an idea as to what the hell is going on here?

The only reply in my previous thread stated that it might actually be the PSU failing, which would be relatively easy and cheap to replace. Or is it the CPU, or the mobo?Asus P8Z77-V moboi5-3570k cpuGTX670 video card8gb Corsair Vengeance RAMAntec BP 550W PSU. It's not the PSU. Got a new one, plugged it up, made sure everything was proper, and it worked! Then later that day my comp froze and it went back to doing the same thing as usual.

The Forest Black Screen On Startup Windows 7

I've ordered a new motherboard, we'll see if that's the problem.I'm having the same problem and I had a few friends that build pcs and they said they don't know what it could be they said it possibly could be the power supply I'll let you know what specs I have later maybe you could help me out (I don't know much about pcs hence why I had friends look at it I'm completely clueless with pc stuff).

Ok so when i boot my Computer it loads ok till it gets to the windows loading screen then the screen goes black. I can see the mouse though but thats it. I also can spam the 'shift' key and hear the sticky keys sound so i beliebe the computer is on justno display. Iv searched the web and people say safemode works but it doesn't. Iv tried to do a Factory Reset but im not 100% sure how. If nothing else is available can you please help me do that.

I haveĀ a HP Desktop.Help is GREATLY appriciated because i really need to use my computer. Hi,To restore your system check with the System Maker's Support as they all have their own methods.(See InPlace Upgrade/Repair Installation and Recovery Options below.)You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer or an external drive case and thenbacking them up.

Do so using several methods in a redundant manner. Of course a real computershop or your System maker can help recover the files. Some of these might not work now however they are left in just in case you do recover someaccess. Can you access Safe Mode? Repeatedly tap F8 as you boot? If so you can try Control Panel - DeviceManager - Display Adapter - Double Click on - Driver tab - click UPDATE driver - then Right Clickon Device and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.Another method to try to access the desktop (try in both regular Windows and Safe Mode) is toCTRL + ALT + DEL and on Process Tab find EXPLORER.exe and END PROCESS on it - thenon Applications Tab - lower right - New Task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe Mode is reachedby repeatedly tapping F8 as you boot up.First check this thread in case its a simple one and if not come back to this thread.Black screen issues are extremely tough to repair and any fix is usually on a hit or miss basis. That there is no information on a black screen like there is on a blue screen just adds to thedifficulty. Often using a restore point nor startup repair will have any effect.

You can try agoogle to see suggested repairs some of which have worked however these cover a widefield of efforts. Here is a video of one fix. Here is another fixDo you have a Vista Disk? You can try System Restore from it. If you do not have the disks yoursystem maker will sell them cheap.
